Summary

• Dr. Lerman received his B.A. from Columbia University and his M.D. from NYU School of medicine. He then went on to general surgery and plastic surgery residency at the NYU Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. He completed an extra clinical fellowship in microvascular reconstructive surgery at The University of Pennsylvania and is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Lerman serves as an Attending Physician at Lenox Hill Hospital and Director of the Breast Cosmetic and Reconstructive Fellowhip helping to teach the next generation of surgical residents. He specializes in reconstructive plastic surgery as well as cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body. Since 2001, he has authored over 40 original articles, abstracts and textbook chapters and has presented at numerous scientific conferences. He is a member of the board of trustees of the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, and the American College of Surgeons.
