Dr. Shoukfeh completed his undergraduate training at Texas Tech University and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Cell & Molecular Biology. At Texas Tech he was accepted to be a member of the Mortar Board, an award to the top 50 seniors campus-wide based on leadership, scholarship, and service. He subsequently obtained his medical degree at Texas Tech University. Dr. Shoukfeh completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, where he earned some of the highest board preparation scores in the country. On a personal note, Dr. Shoukfeh loves spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, and playing basketball. Dr. Shoukfeh believes it is an honor to take care of those people that he knows and grew up along with in the West Texas area, and does not take that responsibility lightly.
