    Raised in a multicultural, multigenerational family in Los Angeles, Dr. Ishibashi developed a deep passion for geriatric and community medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Stanford University, then received a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship to pursue a Graduate Certificate in Experimental Medicine at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. After completing her graduate studies, she returned to Southern California, working across both the public and private health sectors. She later earned her medical degree from UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine through the PRIME-LA program, while simultaneously obtaining a Master of Public Health (MPH) from UCLA's Fielding School of Public Health. She completed her Family Medicine residency at UCLA, where she continues to be actively involved in education, mentorship, and clinical practice.
