- Dr. Pasternak Wise lives in Chicago and has trained at many of Chicagoland's best institutions. After graduating Rush Medical College, she completed her radiology residency at the Loyola University Health System and her fellowship training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She has worked in Private Practice for Radiology Partners for two years and at Mount Sinai Hospital for over four years. At Mt. Sinai, she was the Director of Quality for the Department of Radiology and took over as the Stroke Task Force Director in 2019.
Since November 2020, Dr. Pasternak Wise has been at the University of Chicago Hospital. After two years of leading the Neuroradiology Fellowship as the Program Director and spending one year as the Associate Program Director for the DR radiology residency, she took over the Radiology Residency DR program in 2023.
Dr. Pasternak Wise's clinical research is focused on penetrating intracranial trauma and using machine learning to develop better clinical prognostic models for patient care. Her education research is ongoing with focus on improving resident training/education, decreasing bias in recommendation letters and improving the trainee experience as a whole.
