Hello! My name is Nuriva Kamran and I am currently training as a pediatric resident physician at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital Pediatric Residency Program in Baton Rouge, LA. I am originally from the Greater-Houston area (grew up in Sugar Land, TX) and I would love to come back home, get established in, & give back to my community as a general outpatient pediatrician. My goals & aspirations include practicing evidence-based medicine, connecting pediatric patient's to invaluable community resources, and providing basic pediatric acute care, well visits, & basic mental health care. I hope to provide reassurance, guidance, and encouragement to a diverse patient population. I anticipate graduating pediatric residency by June of 2025. I am looking forward to starting my next full-time attending physician position by fall of 2025.
