Summary
- I attended college at Columbia University, graduating in 2000. Prior to starting medical school I worked for several years as a massage therapist. I completed medical school at UC Davis in 2010, followed by general surgery residency at University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in 2015, and Bariatric/Minimally-Invasive Surgery Fellowship at Duke University in 2016.
Since that time I have been a faculty member within the General Surgery Department of West Virginia University. My practice includes metabolic/weight-loss surgery and foregut surgery using the latest minimally invasive techniques in laparoscopy, robotics, and endoscopy, as well as minimally-invasive general surgery. My goal as a physician is to provide patients with the highest level of surgical care.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am founder of Endolumik Inc., a company developing fluorescence-guided surgical tools.
