- Dr. Norman Otsuka is the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. He received his medical degree from Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine and then went on to residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Toronto followed by a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital. He has been in practice for over 28 years. Within pediatric orthopedic surgery, he specializes in trauma, congenital lower extremity deformities, and cerebral palsy. His research focuses on patient outcomes, especially within neuromuscular disorders.
