- Dr. Norman Lepor is a cardiologist in Beverly Hills, CA and is a clinical professor of medicine at the Geffen/UCLA School of Medicine and an attending cardiologists at the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his cardiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He has been in practice for 32 years. He specializes in interventional cardiology and the treatment of diabetics with cardiovascular disease and is experienced in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterization, heart failure and complex cardiovascular imaging. He helped pioneer the use of coronary and vascular CT angiography as an important diagnostic tool since 2002. He is an active clinical scientist having participated as a primary investigator in nearly 100 pivotal clinical trials dealing with lipid disorders, heart failure, imaging and diabetes. He is widely published in such journals as the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Atherosclerosis, Circulation among others. He is also widely sought after as a medical educator and lectures all over the world on a number topics dealing with cardiovascular disease.
