  • Dr Noorulain Qureshi is internal medicine core faculty at Wellstar’s internal Medicine residency program at Spalding regional hospital. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Department of Medicine at Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University with the Wellstar-MCG consortium.

    She attended Dow University of Health Sciences, in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed her internal medicine residency at Nuvance health at the prestigious VBMC in New York.

    Dr Qureshi has had extensive research experience and is a published author of several articles. She published a research study in the American journal of transplantation regarding the numbers and titers of donor specific antibodies and their correlation to CD4 positivity and clinical outcomes in organ transplant patients. This study was also presented in the American transplant Congress.

    While during residency, Dr Qureshi cofounded and chaired the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Dr Qureshi’s area’s of interests include equity and diversity in medicine, Resident wellness as well as obesity research and GME training.

    Dr Qureshi is ABIM board certified in Internal Medicine.

    In her free time, Dr Qureshi enjoys artwork, hiking, camping, travelling and working out.
