Summary

• Niran Al-Agba is a board certified pediatrician practicing in her hometown since the fall of 2001. While in the Lyman Briggs Program at Michigan State University, she attained a B.S. degree in Physiology graduating with Honors in 1995. She completed her M.D. at the University of Washington in 1999. While attending the UW medical school, she began work on the Admissions Committee for the School of Medicine and has continued as a member to the present time.
  
  After finishing her residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine/Denver Children's Hospital in 2002, she returned to Kitsap County to join Silverdale Pediatrics and has continued in private pediatric practice. She has been voted Best Doctor in Central Kitsap 2011, 2012, 2015, and 2016; a finalist for the last 9 years in a row. She was recognized as a Health Care Hero by the Kitsap Community in 2015, 2016, and 2017 for community advocacy.
  
  She has four children who are often be seen in the clinic visiting with patients and their families or comforting children receiving immunizations. Her focus is patient and physician autonomy— how to get it back and then maintain it—personally, professionally, and politically.
