  • Dr. Nilanjana Bose earned her medical degree at the University of Calcutta Medical College in India. She completed her internship in internal medicine at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.; her residency in internal medicine at the University of Oklahoma; and a fellowship in rheumatology at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. She also holds an MBA with a focus on healthcare administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

    In practice since 2003, Dr. Bose is board certified in rheumatology and a member of the American College of Rheumatology. She speaks Hindi and Bengali. She provides diagnosis and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoporosis, vasculitis, inflammatory muscle diseases and other connective tissue diseases, as well as bursitis, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia and other causes of musculoskeletal pain.

    Dr. Bose takes time to answer questions and provide detailed information to patients. She works closely with them to identify problems and design individualized treatment plans. Her practice offers an onsite infusion suite and urgent-access appointments for patients with early, active arthritis.

    A regular contributor to online articles that increase public awareness of arthritis-related topics, she is also actively involved with the Arthritis Foundation in Houston.

    Dr. Bose lives in Manvel. Her hobbies include Indian classical dance and traveling.
