Offering both surgical and nonsurgical treatments for the shoulder, elbow and knee, Dr. Verma’s practice utilizes a combination of approaches designed for each patient. His specialties include advanced arthroscopic reconstructive techniques of the shoulder, total shoulder replacement, elbow ligament reconstruction, cartilage reconstruction and arthroscopic knee ligament reconstruction.
In addition to his sports medicine and orthopedic practice at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush and being named Fellowship Director, Professor and Chief of Sports Medicine at Rush University Medical Center, he serves as a the head team physician for the Chicago White Sox and team physician for the Chicago Bulls and Nazareth Academy. Dr. Verma is involved in multiple orthopedic sports medicine societies such as the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Shoulder Elbow Society.
