• Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Theiss received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. She went on to earn her medical degree from University of Wisconsin – Madison Medical School, where she also completed her residency training in family medicine. Dr. Theiss is board certified in family medicine and has a special interest in preventive care for people of all ages, as well as endurance athletics, sports injuries, and women's health.
  
  Having grown up on a farm in rural Wisconsin, Dr. Theiss has a special love of animals and the outdoors. She is an avid long-distance runner and enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, reading, and traveling.
