Summary

  • I am Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician who specializes in the treatment of complicated bacterial, viral, and parasitic infections in children. I have extensive work with children with both primary and acquired immunodeficiencies including infectious complications of pediatric cancer and transplant medicine.

Education has always been a key part of my life, and while I will always be a life long student, I have gradually shifted into a teaching role. This progressed throughout my years in medical education as a resident then fellow and now faculty member. Additionally, I have had the amazing opportunity to engage with the medical education curriculum on a national scale through the development of online medical curriculums at UWorld, LLC.

As a pediatric infectious diseases fellow, I spent several years working at the FDA in the Center for Drug Development and Research as a medical officer reviewing drug applications and supplements for antimicrobials being considered for use in children. This has lead to a continued interest in clinical research and drug trials as a practicing physician.
