Dr. Neil Stone, based in Chicago, IL, is a cardiologist with a subspecialty in preventive cardiology. He completed his medical education at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in 1968, followed by residency and internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. Since 2009, he has been a Professor of Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Stone is experienced in general cardiology, metabolic syndrome, hypertension, coronary artery disease, and cardiomyopathies. His recent publications cover topics such as statin use, cardiovascular risk prediction, and hypercholesterolemia management. He has received numerous honors, including the Laennec Master Clinician award from the AHA and the Joseph Stokes, III, MD Award for achievements in preventive cardiology from the ASPC.
