Summary
- I am a board eligible neurosurgeon with subspecialty training in combined orthopedic/neurosurgical spine surgery. I was drawn to neurosurgery because it represented a combination of the diagnostic mastery of neurology
and the technical and spatial planes of surgery. Within neurosurgery, spinal biomechanics, material dynamics, and the ever-changing nature of the
field, along with its widespread application day to day, made for a naturally appealing career choice.
My care philosophy is rooted in patient education, thoughtful surgical planning that favors reward over risk, and a reciprocal relationship with the
patient and family to help determine the best course of
action.
