Dr. Gelinas received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated with honors in the top quarter of his class. Dr. Gelinas completed a Transitional Year residency program at Saint John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Detroit Michigan. He then completed his ophthalmology residency program at the University of Colorado Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado.
Dr. Gelinas has authored numerous publications in professional journals and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
