- As Chief Medical Officer of Vanderbilt Behavioral Health, I serve as the lead physician of the clinical faculty in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. I founded and developed the Neuromodulation Program (including Electroconvulsive Therapy and Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) into a busy service with 6 clinical providers, 2 nurses, and 2 support staff. I have received numerous teaching awards in the early career for Medical Student and Resident education at Vanderbilt, a top 15 medical school. My administrative duties include directly supervising a group of clinical directors who manage the clinical efforts of Vanderbilt Medical Group providers in the Department.
