- Dr. Schoen earned his bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, then his MD and MPH degrees from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he is a succeeding Chief Resident in General Surgery at the UM Hospitals and Clinics. He received the U.S. Navy HPSP scholarship and is currently commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Navy Reserves Medical Corps.
