- I am an internal medicine specialist located in Indianapolis, IN, with subspecialty in hospital medicine. Completed MBBS at Government Medical College Patiala in 1999 and internal medicine residency at the University of Rochester in 2006.
Currently, working as a hospitalist at IU Health Methodist Hospital and also serve on the faculty at Indiana University School of Medicine. My previous roles include serving as the Section Chief of Internal Medicine at Columbus Regional Hospital and Clinical Instructor at Mt Sinai Medical Center in NYC.
I have experience in managing critical conditions like septic shock, Ventilator associated pneumonia, heart failure, kidney failure and chronic metabolic conditions like obesity, diabtes and hypertension. I am involved in personalized medicine, primary care, and executive health.
My research work includes several published articles in peer reviewed journals, with notable topics such as semaglutide in obesity and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and the correlation of high sensitivity C-reactive protein with calcific aortic valve disease.
