Natalya began her career at SIUH in 1998 as a Neonatal Physician Assistant, advancing into leadership roles. In 2013, she became Administrative Director of the Patient Safety Institute (PSI) and later Director of PSI & Clinical Education Programs. She has a publication titled "Who's counting? Assessing the effects of a simulation-based training intervention on the accuracy of neonatal heart rate auscultation," which appeared in the Journal of Perinatology in February 2019 and has been cited four times.
In 2018, she was promoted to Senior Director of Ambulatory Care, where she expanded healthcare services to meet community needs.
She also served as Associate Professor at Wagner College’s Physician Assistant Program, where she focused on curriculum development, clinical management, and strategic partnerships.
Natalya’s accomplishments include opening a 45,000 sq. ft. outpatient cancer facility, leading population health initiatives for underserved communities, and managing a $10 million grants portfolio. She is a member of the Pi Alpha National PA Honor Society, a Distinguished Fellow of the AAPA, and completed Northwell’s LeadNEXT executive leadership program.
