Summary
- I am board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery and practice in Austin, Texas. I recently joined University of Texas at Austin and Ascension Health after practicing vascular surgery at University of California, Davis in Sacramento for 17 years where I served as Chief of Vascular Surgery at Northern California Health Care System-Sacramento VA Medical Center. My research efforts have focused on outcomes of endovascular and open peripheral arterial disease interventions, treatment of venous disease using the vascular quality initiative database, and stem cell use for critical limb ischemia. I have served and continue to serve on numerous committees of the American Venous Forum, the Society for Vascular Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons. Currently, I also serve as an editor for the Journal of Vascular Surgery-Venous and Lymphatic Disorders.
