Summary
- I am involved in the treatment of inflammatory ocular diseases affecting the uveal tract, vitreous, retina, and sclera. For the past 25 years, I have focused on clinical and basic research on oxidative stress mediated retinal damage in intraocular inflammation/uveitis and I have had several successful NEI-funded R01 grants since 1985 and worked on many projects with high relevance to the public health.
