- My name is Naomi Powell. I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at MD Trucare. I believe that everyone should be their best selves; free from depression, anxiety, and other things that keep them down. I am passionate about our youth and their mental health.
I’ve worked as a nurse for 17 years. I have had many nursing roles which include mental health nursing, progressive care, emergency services, correctional health, and school nursing. I am also a nursing school instructor. My goal is to help mold the students into excellent nurses who we can trust to care for us as we age.
I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Western Governors University, and a Post Masters Certificate in Mental Health (PMHNP) from Wilkes University.
I am a wife and a mother. I have 2 beautiful grandchildren who are my absolute favorite people in the world. In my free time, I enjoy reading and watching happy movies on Hallmark.
