Summary
- I am an educator, clinician, and researcher who founded and directs the Duke Center for Eating Disorders and is a Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University. I attempt to use our growing understanding of interoception to develop and test interventions, particularly for young children, that help individuals to be awed by and trusting of the wisdom and power of their bodies.
