Nancy Winters, MD, is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst based in Portland, OR. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at Yale-New Haven Medical Center and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). From 1989-2011, she was professor at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine and since 2011 is a Clinical Professor. Dr. Winters trained in adult psychoanalysis at the Oregon Psychoanalytic Institute where she is a training and supervising analyst. She has a private practice in adult psychoanalysis. Her publications cover various topics, including children's mental health and psychoanalysis.
