- A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Nguyen completed residency training in internal medicine at the San Antonio Uniformed Service Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC) located in San Antonio, Texas. He served as an active-duty Air Force internist and medical director of inpatient/outpatient internal medicine services at Langley Air Force Base (AFB) Hospital in Hampton, Virginia. Dr. Nguyen later returned to SAUSHEC to complete a fellowship in rheumatology. After fellowship, he was stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi where he served as the Chief of Rheumatology as well as core faculty of the internal medicine GME program. Dr. Nguyen is a general rheumatologist with a focus on seronegative spondyloarthropathies and an interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
