- Dr. Demian earned medicine and dental surgery degrees and has been practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston since graduating from The University of Texas – Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program in 2005. Board-certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Demian is an active member of The Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Medical Association, and American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He also serves as a Texas Medical Board and the Texas Board of Dental Examiners Expert Panelist.
He has also served as a faculty member at UTHSC School of Dentistry at Houston between 2005 and 2023 and as the Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Service at Memorial Hermann Hospital between 2014-2023, where he dedicated his time to care for urgencies such as severe infections or facial fractures and their consequences. He remains a part-time faculty in UT Houston.
As of August 2023, he joined the Houston Methodist Oral Surgery Associates, where he practices full-time
Dr. Demian participates in a yearly mission trip to treat patients with cleft lips and palate deformities. He is currently credentialed with multiple local hospitals. He is the author and co-author of several professional journal articles and has been a presenter at numerous state and national meetings.
