He focuses his practice on managing all types of cardiovascular disease from the routine treatment of hypertension or high cholesterol, to management of complex Cardiovascular conditions such as Complex Coronary Artery Disease, Complex Valve conditions and complex rhythm problems of the heart both rapid tachycardias and slow heart rates. Management of Atrial Fibrillation and related dysrhythmias are common conditions in his practice.
He has performed more than 5000 pacemaker and Defibrillator Implantation and an estimated 2000 ablations in his time at Methodist Hospital.
He is the Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab at the Methodist DeBakey Heart&Vascular Center and the Deputy Chairman of the Department of Cardiology.
