    Dr. Marah graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008, then earned his medical degree at The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at New York Presbyterian, Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, during which he was awarded for his meritorious achievement in clinic research, and dedication to patient care.

    He joined the Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2017. During his training, he was awarded both Outstanding Clinical Cardiology Fellow and Outstanding Teaching Fellow of The Year by MD Anderson Cancer Center and McGovern Medical School, respectively. He was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) National Medical Honor Society for his educational achievement, teaching, and commitment to patient care. He also received the distinguished professional designation of Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), for his outstanding credentials, achievements, and community contribution to Cardiovascular medicine.

    He transitioned to advanced training in Interventional, Structural, and Peripheral Cardiology Fellowship Program at UTHealth, graduating in 2021, during which he served as the Chief Interventional Cardiology Fellow.

    His current areas of clinical practice include coronary interventions with/without percutaneous left ventricular assisted device support, peripheral vascular Interventions including limb salvage revascularization, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), atrial septal defect (ASD) and patent foramen ovale (PFO) repair, left atrial appendage occlusion with Watchman device.
