Summary

• Nabil Chehade, MD, MSBS, is the President and Market Chief Executive Officer for HealthSpan physicians, an integrated multispecialty group practice with 15 locations in Northeast Ohio including 2 large multidisciplinary specialty hubs that include emergency room, clinical decision units, lab, radiology, pharmacy services and an ambulatory surgery center. The medical group is fully capitated and take full risk on a population of more than 70,000 fully insured member (commercial HMO and governmental programs like Medicare Advantage and Qualified Health Plan members among other). In his current role, Dr Chehade is responsible for providing comprehensive leadership and effective management of short and long term strategic planning, preparation and adherence to annual operating budget, growth and performance of the group.
  
  Dr. Chehade received his medical degree and completed a residency in Urology at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. He also received a master’s degree in biomedical studies with a major in pathology at Toledo and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Dr. Chehade is board certified in urology.
  Prior to becoming the President and market CEO for HealthSpan physicians, Dr. Chehade had been part of the Ohio Permanente Medical Group for more than fifteen years of which, ten years were spent in leadership positions as President and Executive Medical Director, Chief Medical Informatics Officer, as well as a multitude of other operational and revenue cycle leadership roles including major role in developing risk adjusted revenue.
  Dr. Chehade’s passion revolves around creating high quality care at an affordable price by leveraging prepaid multidisciplinary group practice that takes full risk for the health of the population they serve.
