• Dr. Monique Chheda is a board certified dermatologist. She is a native of Chicago. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, where she graduated with honors. She went on to complete her medical school education at the University of Illinois - Chicago Medical School, where she graduated at the top of her class, being accepted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Chicago, where she also served as Chief Resident in her final year.
  
  She has been in both academic and private practice since completing her training, practicing in Maryland and New Jersey prior to joining District Dermatology. She now sees patients in McLean & Tyson’s, VA. Dr. Chheda is passionate about providing high-quality dermatologic care for her patients. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and her interests in medical dermatology include acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin cancer screening and treatment. She also has a special interest in hair loss and conditions in skin of color. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, serving previously on the Young Physicians Committee, and is a published scientific author.
