Technician and served with the Bay Ridge Ambulance
Volunteer Organization in Brooklyn for five years.
Dr. Kennedy received her medical degree from the SUNY
Stony Brook University School of Medicine, followed by
residency training at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut as
part of the Columbia University Family Medicine Program.
She completed her undergraduate degree at the Sophie
Davis School of Biomedical Education, City College of
New York.
During medical school and residency training, Dr. Kennedy
was the recipient of a number of honors and awards.
These include Senator Golden’s Certificate of Appreciation
for Outstanding Dedication and Service to the Community
and the Leon Marienberg Family Practice Award.
She took first place for her poster presentation, “Identifying
High-Risk Patients for Substance Abuse in the Stamford
Community” in a competition sponsored by the American
Society of Addiction Medicine, Connecticut chapter.
