Summary
- I am a hospitalist-investigator at the Center for Innovations in Quality, Effectiveness, and Safety at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in the Section of Health Services Research. I use rigorous study designs from improvement and implementation science to improve hospital care for adults living with dementia and their families. I train and mentor the next generation of healthcare improvement leaders though the VA Quality Scholars, the VA Chief Resident in Quality and Safety Program, and the VA Health Professions Education, Evaluation, and Research Program.
