• Dr. Mohammad Riaz is a general surgeon currently based in Paramount, CA. He completed surgical residencies at notable institutions such as the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke-Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, and University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia. His training began with a Rotating internship at Hutzel Hospital, Affiliate Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Graduated from King Edward Medical University in 1964. Completed one year House Job in Surgery at Mayo Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan, thereafter served in Army Medical Corps and arrived in the USA in 1966. Dr. Riaz is Board Certified In Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Fellow of International College of Surgeons. Practiced as a General Surgeon in Rocky Mount, Virginia for six years, relocated and practiced in California since 1979. Served as member of Executive Committe and Chief of Surgery twice at a local hospital, also engaged in some research activities. Presently no hospital affiliation, but only limited office practice.
