- Dr. Elhammady earned his medical degree with highest honors from the University of Mansoura/Egypt. He then began his neurosurgical training at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital where he completed his internship and neurosurgical residency. He subsequently completed three fellowships. The first in neuroendovascular surgery at the University of Miami, the second in open cerebrovascular and skull base surgery at the University of Miami, and finally in minimally invasive/endoscopic surgery for brain and spine tumors at the Center for Minimally invasive Neurosurgery in Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Elhammady is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He specializes in the treatment of all aspects of neurovascular disease and complex brain tumors.
Dr. Elhammady is currently a consultant neurosurgeon at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
