Summary
- I am a Hematology and Oncology fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). My primary interest is in malignant hematology, bone marrow failures disorders, and stem cell transplantation. I am however flexible to practice general oncology as well.
Since the completion of my clinical training part of fellowship, I joined the Richard Childs group at the NIH where I currently lead two transplant related projects. The first is a clinical project transplanting patients with hypoplastic MDS (hMDS) and Severe Aplastic Anemia (SAA) using an experimental expanded-cord graft. The second is a lab-based project studying and comparing the polyfunctional signatures of viral reactive T-Cells between various graft sources for patients transplanted at the NIH.
Overall, my background, interests, and multi-institutional experience, lead me to appreciate quality patient care, innovation, and teamwork.
Thank you for taking the time to review my application and for considering me for the position. As of this writing, I am currently in my second year of training at the NIH Hematology and Oncology Fellowship Program.
