Dr. Mohamad Och is a psychiatrist based in Worcester, MA, with subspecialty training in forensic psychiatry. He completed his psychiatric residency at UMass Chan Medical School from 1982 to 1985 after earning his medical degree from the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in 1980. Additionally, he undertook a residency in internal medicine at St Vincent Hospital in 1994. Dr. Och has been serving as the Medical Director at Advanced Psych Services since 2009. He has experience in treating mood disorders and adjustment disorder with anxiety and depressed mood. In 2012, he received Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Presently he manages and consults and trans as well as supervise NP students and NPS as well as other psychiatrists .HE no longer treats patients himself but does have a personal coaching business focused on helping patients and their families to navigate care and get the most possible and desired health and functional outcomes .he also is working on writing two books due to be published at the end of 2025
