Summary
- I specialize in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, the subspecialty within Cardiology focused on the management and treatment of Cardiac Arrhythmias, or abnormal heart rhythms. Prior to coming to El Paso, I spent 3 years working on the faculty at the University of Oklahoma with Dr. Sonny Jackman, who did the first radiofrequency catheter ablation for Cardiac Arrhythmia.
My main professional interests are catheter ablation of Cardiac Arrhythmias and implantation and management of pacemakers and defibrillators. I have extensive experience in the management of complex arrhythmias, specifically atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. I perform the largest volume of procedures to treat atrial fibrillation in the El Paso area.
