After graduating from a 6-year accelerated combined B.S. and M.D. program at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Dr. Reiter completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System followed by a fellowship in orthopedic spinal surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Reiter serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He has been a leader in multiple medical societies including spending over a decade on the Board of Directors of the North American Spine Society.
    Dr. Reiter has multiple publications in journals such as Spine, The Spine Journal, and Spine Line. Dr. Reiter is also a co-inventor of Sensiband, a patented, FDA registered, wearable device that tests patients for metal allergies. He received the Alpha Omega Alpha honor in 1992.
