Dr. Mitchell Bernsen is a gastroenterology specialist based in Arlington Heights, IL. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Rush University Medical Center where he also graduated medical school. Following this, he undertook a gastroenterology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center between 1994-1996. Dr. Bernsen's professional experience includes general gastroenterology, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, crohn's disease, and endoscopy. He has also taken part in clinical trials, notably as Principal Investigator in a study of CDPATH™ to help manage and treat Crohn's Disease.
