Her expertise includes resection and reconstruction of benign and malignant neoplasms of the head and neck, including the mouth, throat, skin, salivary glands, thyroid and parathyroid glands. Dr. O'Leary has authored multiple publications on topics such as salivary gland tumors and cutaneous cancer prevention. She has been involved in clinical trials related to head and neck cancer and received the CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification in 2013. Dr. O'Leary was the Residency Program Director of the department from 2012 to 2021, when she transitioned to Interim Department Chair. Dr. O'Leary has been the permanent Department Chair since October 2022.
