  • Dr. Mir Ali Sadat graduated with honors from the State Medical Institute of Nangarhar, Afghanistan and completed his first residency in Family Medicine at Cure International hospital, Kabul Afghanistan. He completed his second residency in Internal Medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Queens, New York in 2018.

    After successfully completing his residency, Dr. Sadat joined TeamHealth and worked as Facility Medical Director and Hospitalist at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, Texas.

    Dr. Sadat is core faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences College of Medicine, University of Houston, Texas.

    Dr. Sadat is Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), his areas of professional interests include primary care, hospital medicine, teaching and mentoring residents/medical student and prides himself on providing high quality patient care in internal medicine.
    Dr. Sadat won several awards including national medical director of the year 2022 with TeamHealth, faculty of the year 2022, 2021 and physician of the quarter 2019 with HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood.

    He is a member of American College of Physicians (ACP) and American Medical Association (AMA).

    Dr. Sadat has contributed to medical literature, with his most significant publications being "A rare case of Wernicke encephalopathy in stage IV gastric cancer" and "A 78-Year-Old Man with a Pulmonary Embolism Who Developed Skin Necrosis 7 Days After Treatment with the Direct Oral Anticoagulant Factor Xa Inhibitor Apixaban," both of which have been cited in other publications.
