Summary
- I am a board-certified medical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of older adults with breast cancer. I completed my bachelor's degree at the University of Chicago, my medical degree at Rush Medical College, and my training in Internal Medicine and Hematology-Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, I obtained a master's degree in Health Policy Research from UPenn. I'm currently an Associate Professor of Medicine at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and Director of the Cancer & Aging Program at UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. As a physician-scientist, my research is focused on the dynamic interplay between cancer and aging. I lead a translational research program that studies the impact of cancer treatment on biological aging processes. Prior to UCLA, I was an assistant professor and deputy director of the Center for Cancer and Aging at City of Hope.
