Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1987, Medical Oncology in 1990, and Hematology in 1991 with re-certification successfully completed and valid through 2030. Employed by MultiCare Health System at then, MultiCare Regional Cancer Center (MRCC); Tacoma General Hospital (TG) since May 18, 1998; seeing patients at TG Medical Oncology/Hematology Sub-specialty Clinic five days per week (Monday through Friday) and in-patient consultation in Med Onc/Hematology subspecialty field at regional community hospitals including Allenmore, GSH, and AMC Hospitals with about 65-70 patients seen per week in earlier years. Holding a Clinical Faculty position at University of Washington (UW), School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology since December 1, 2010.

Interested in GENERAL MEDICAL ONCOLOGY and also CLASSICAL HEMATOLOGY, Graduated from Taipei Medical College now Taipei Medical University (TMU); in 1981, with MPH Degree from the University of Texas (UT) Health Sciences Center at Houston in 1984; finished Residency Training in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital (John Stroger Jr Hospital at present), Chicago, IL, from 1984-1987 and Sub-specialty Fellowship Training in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the University of Illinois School of Medicine at Chicago (UIC) from 1987-1990.
Working in Taiwan at National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) in Taipei as Clinical Investigator at the NTUH-Taiwan NIH Cancer Research Ward in 1996-1998, Taipei Veterans General Hospital (VGH) Dept of Medicine as Attending Physician in Medical Oncology in 1996; Taipei Sun Yet-Sen Cancer Center in 1995; Taichung Veterans General Hospital Attending Physician in Hematology, Dept of Medicine in 1991-1994.
