Summary
- As a private orthopaedic and spine surgeon, I have been active treating patients with a broad spectrum of neuro-musculoskeletal issues over the course of the last 22 years with a very high practice volume. Our children have grown out of the household, and so I am free to pursue alternative orthopaedic and spine surgery careers should the right opportunity present itself, including academic paths which were of serious consideration before embarking on private practice in 1996. My focus in the last ten years has been spine surgery, however I am dual fellowship trained in spine surgery and arthroscopy/sports medicine and I continue to offer extremity management, especially as it pertains to shoulders. This combination has worked well in assessing and treating patients with multi-musculoskeletal problems, although I have increasingly evolved the practice to be spine-centric. My current practice can be viewed by way of www.alpineorthospine.com.
