Dr. Ramirez has authored over 20 articles and book chapters based on his research, ranging from "Biomechanics of reconstruction techniques" for "Tommy John" surgery to "Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement for Irreparable Rotator Cuff Tears and Cuff Tear Arthropathy." Born in the Dominican Republic, Dr. Ramirez is fluent in Spanish and is committed to serving our Spanish-speaking population. He and his wife (also a physician) have two young children. He enjoys spending time with his children, the outdoors, running and cycling, as well as playing basketball and baseball
