Summary
- I work as part of an integrated psychiatry team that uses brain-based technologies including qEEG, TMS and volumetric MRI to help optimize individual psychiatric diagnoses and treatment plans.
Treating complex traumatic disorders including mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and associated sleep and substance use disorders (SUD) is a particular strength of mine.
As a flight-surgeon in the Air Force, I have taken part in several national and international disaster relief missions to post-hurricane Katrina, post-earthquake Haiti and rural Mozambique. As a result, I have seen first-hand the lasting impact of trauma on communities.
