Michael Savino, MD FACS is a board certified urologist based in Staten Island, NY with a focus on prostate cancer screening and genetic testing. He underwent residency in surgery and urology at Maimonides Medical Center after graduating from Universidad de Guadalajara in 1979. Currently, he serves as the Quality Director at Staten Island University Hospital and its South Site. Dr. Savino has published several academic papers on topics such as renal angiomyolipoma and Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. He has also been recognized by the American Cancer Society, earning a position on their Medical Advisory Board. He is a member of the AUA and ACS.
