Summary
- Michael Pistiner, MD, MMSc is Director of Food Allergy Advocacy, Education and Prevention at MassGeneral Hospital for Children. He has a special interest in food allergy and anaphylaxis advocacy and education, as well as facilitating collaborations between school health and the medical home as well as between pediatric allergists and pediatricians. Dr. Pistiner's clinical interest is infant food allergy and anaphylaxis prevention and management. Dr. Pistiner is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics, where he is a member of Section on Allergy and Immunology, Council On School Health and the MA Chapter of the AAP. He is also a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and serves on the medical advisory board of Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America, New England Chapter. He is the father of a child with food allergy, co-creator and content creator for AllergyHome.org and co-author of Living Confidently With Food Allergy.
